From rites of passage that honour life's sacred thresholds to community circles that deepen connection, I facilitate ceremonies that weave people together to celebrate life, share wisdom and activate our co-creative power.

Following the thread of my dreams

My path has guided me through diverse traditional healing lineages across South Africa and the world — into the mystery and wisdom of the feminine body, and the remembrance of our true magic as human beings.

Coming home to the wild

I found my greatest teachers and healers in nature.

She has been my medicine, my mirror, my temple.

I walk the dream weaver's path

— seeing the weaving of spirit to find the path of healing and greatest creative potential.

I now serve as a medicine woman, ceremonial facilitator and rites of passage guide, weaving the many threads of my life to support women and communities to heal and create together.

I am the Founder of HER — a sanctuary for women to embrace their bodies as wise and beautiful, come home to nature, weave circles of sisterhood, and meet life with greater pleasure, purpose and creative power.

Registered with SAHATWA, My approach to medicine is informed by years of apprenticeship with traditional healers and wisdom keepers, my own personal study of my body, medicine and energy, as well as many vision quests in the wild.

Lineages & Teachers

I was first called into this path through a dream initiation with Credo Mutwa, a respected traditional healer and African wisdom keeper.

From there, my path has weaven me through teachers, apprenticeships and studies across Southern Africa and into my own northern lineages.

Cow Shit Meets Soil Alchemy

After an hour of churning our cow pat pit into cosmic dung butter, we added six biodynamic compost preparations - each made through its own wild alchemy of plants and animal organs, fermented and brewed by the earth, sun and stars.

~ 502: Yarrow & Stag Bladder for nutrient connection
~ 503: Chamomile & Cow Intestine for digestion & balance
~ 504: Nettle for vitality & nitrogen
~ 505: Oak & Animal Skull for strength & protection
~ 506: Dandelion & Cow Mesentery for light & connection
~ 507: Valerian for warmth & protection

Each preparation is added in small catalytic doses to inform & guide the energetic and microbial field of the soil, plants and farm ecosystem - supporting the anchoring of cosmic and planetary forces as well as enhancing the mineral fertility of the soil.

From cow shit to cosmic compost… This alchemical brew will now ferment under the earth for the next 3 to 6 months, until it is ready to be applied.

Excited to continue to deepen this sacred study of earth and stars with our local biodynamic group over the seasons ahead.

Let’s kak trap…

Today we made cow pat pit - a biodynamic preparation that awakens the fertility in your garden through weaving cosmic forces and celestial alignment’s with the power of collective intention (we had to stomp that cow shit for 1 hour) and fertile earth materials (in this case the cow dung of lactating cows, rock dust and eggshells).

This brew then ferments under the ground for 3 to 6 months to create a potent alchemical offering that is then sprayed on the land and plants.

Rich in minerals and microbes on the physical plane and supercharged by the power of our shared intention… this is true bio alchemy.

Grateful to be learning from our local legend and wise woman Avice as well as this inspiring community of nature lovers.

Every time I circle with women, I am touched deeply by the medicine of sisterhood.

It always feels like a homecoming.

Love that creates safety for tears to flow, vulnerability to be shared, and wisdom to be offered freely.

As our women’s circle blooms here in the Crags, I dream of a time when every community has a women’s circle of its own.

A sacred space where women can gather each month to meet themselves and each other more deeply, support one another through their rites of passage, and share wisdom across generations.

When we gather, we see ourselves reflected in one another.
We remember our own beauty.
We remember our own wisdom.

And together, we are able to tune into our collective power — to nurture our communities and bring our shared dreams to life.

Guidance is always present for those with the eyes to see.

Divination is a way of observing the patterns, energies and movements unfolding through our lives — revealing the wisdom that is already present.

My own practice weaves ancestral divination through the runes with my training in traditional African bone reading, creating a unique language of symbols through which I listen for guidance.

I use these tools as mirrors — not to tell you who you are or dictate your future, but to illuminate what is already moving beneath the surface.

For those standing at a threshold, seeking clarity, or feeling called towards a new direction, divination offers a space to pause, listen and see your path from another perspective.

Winter Solstice marks the end of the solar cycle and the beginning of the new year.

To be together with my community here at Kuthumba, surrounded by friends and family - singing, praying and playing together feels like a dream come true.

I remember last year at this time being alone at my fire in my home praying for community and seeding this dream.

I give thanks that our hearts prayers our heard, that our dreams can come true and for the gift of being surrounded by people I love that deeply see and support me.

I give thanks to be rebirthing a culture of ceremony with my community. Ceremony that connects us to the rhythms of nature, ceremony that brings us closer to each other, ceremony that honours our diverse cultures and roots, ceremony that celebrates the gift of this life and honours the divine that lives through each of us.

Looking forward to a year of deepening in community and exploring the power and healing that gathering in circle and ceremony can activate in our community spaces.

May the returning sun this year light the path to your wildest dreams and desires.

A women circle is a safe space for women to be seen, heard and supported.

All around the world women are leading the way forward to bring us together as community - using the power of gathering in circle to weave us together again, to share our wisdom and to remember the power we have when we unite our creative forces.

Thank you to all the beautiful women that heard the call with me to activate and co-create our local community women’s circle here in the Crags in the Garden Route.

We gathered, we shared our stories, we laughed, we cried and dreamed together into how this circle can support each of us as well as our wider community - becoming a safe space for all women of all ages, cultures and backgrounds to come together, be heard and supported.

I’m looking forward to witnessing this circle grow and bloom over the coming months into a safe space for all the women from our community to come home to themselves, each other and the wisdom of the feminine.

I feel the power of the feminine rising now to help guide us as we heal the wounds of the past that kept us divided and disempowered. She knows how to nurture life and community… this wisdom is woven in her womb, blood and bones.

Grateful for the lineage of women before me that kept the wisdom of the circle alive and the fire of the feminine force burning strong, so that we can use this wisdom now to support the healing of our communities 🙏🏽
